WLAC Members Day
12th September 2009 – Peter Wells supported the Members day at White Waltham airfield and displayed G-RIOT in its last public appearance before being repainted. Both Peter and The West London Aeroclub support the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, and proceeds from the day were shared equally with Helicopter charity the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Highlights of the day were the aerobatic displays. Rob Howarth’s old Extra 230 was expertly flown by Julian Murfitt but display of the day was Gennady Elfimov in the Yak52, including his trademark snap roll on takeoff.
