9th July 2009 – Twister Aerobatics were very honoured to be invited to fly at Manor Farm, home of well known warbird operator Rob Lamploughs. Rob owns an impressive collection of toys including
a Spitfire VIII, P-51D Mustang, several other historic airframes and historic racing cars.
Rob also owns several military vehicles which were giving rides to visitors around the Farm. The event itself was held in aid of the Aircrew Association and included several regulars from the display circuit including the Battle of Britiain Memorial Flight DC-3 and the Blue Eagles. Peter Wells flew his new solo display display in G-TWST. The star of the show was a Hughes 500 which put on an impressive straffing demonstration and Robs own Spitfire VIII .Peter would like to thank both Rob Lamploughs, Anthony Stansfeld and Tim Wiliams for their fantastic hospitality.
